The Fanfare is a colourful Amsterdam ‘street orchestra’ with around twenty members playing a wide range of wind and percussion instruments. For over 25 years the Fanfare has been a creating a musical party wherever they go. A welcome guest at festivals, concerts and celebrations,  they’ve made their subtle yet intense presence felt around the world; from Brittany to Romania and from Turkey to Cuba. The Fanfare is flexible. They can set up quickly and easily almost anywhere. No messing around with mikes and leads: they play indoors and outdoors without amplification. They play a varied and exciting repertoire walking on the street, among the dancing audience or on stage. From canal barge to theatre, from street corner to studio, from Ferris wheel to swimming pool, the Fanfare plays where you want and makes a party of it!
