The Final of the Laureate Jazz Competition took place this weekend.

Winners:

1. place: Fekecs Ákos Project – 200.000 Ft + performance at the Amersfoort Jazz Festival

2. place: Rafael Mario Trio – 100.000 Ft + performance at the 2019 Babel Sound Festival

3. place: Sequence Quartet – 100.000 Ft

Special awards:

- An invitation to Amersfoort Jazz Festival: Antal Gábor Trio.

- Album recording offered by Narrator Records: Pázmándi Gergely Trio.

- Performance at the 2019 Jazz and Wine Festival, Balatonboglár: Win Pongsakorn Quintet

- Based on their performance at the Jazz Competition Final, the organizers of Babel Sound invite the transylvanian band Ineffable to the 2019 Babel Sound Festival.
