On May 25 we enjoyed the 5th edition of Babel Nights Barcelona and a new and charming musical display with three extraordinary bands.
The versatile Dinatatak started the event with a cosmopolitan vibe: Italia, Chile, Mexico and France- settled in Barcelona that impacted the audience with their beautiful songs and, at the peak, with impetuous tap dancing.
The foreign proposal of the edition came from Sicily with the fabulous Oi Dipnoi trio that surprised the audience with its worked and hypnotic compositions, pieces with which they created a captivating atmosphere that went beyond the pure traditional sounds of the Mediterranean island. The versatility of his latest album, "Bastrika", brilliantly played by Marco on bass, Mario on percussion and Valerio on accordion and bagpipe, left no one indifferent.
The third discharge of the night was undoubtedly an unexpected power for those who did not know Faela!, a band from Sweden that combines the clear instrumentation of Nordic musicians with the warm rhythms and the irresistible charisma of the Argentine Hugo Coronel, seductive singer virtuoso multi-instrumentalist who infected his energy to sweat the shirt to a public delivered from the first beat.
As usual in Babel Nights Barcelona, final apotheosis with the musicians of the three bands on stage demonstrating their professionalism with a long improvisation ideal for personalized showings.
