The De Cobre is an 8-years-old ever-changing flamenco fusion project led by flamenco dancer-singer-songwriter Maria Keck. Her musicians now are Kasia, a flamenco guitarist-singer of Polish-American origin and Miguel, a Mexican percussionist. Their unique sound comes from the combination of flamenco, gypsy rhythms, Spanish copla and Hungarian folk music which is intertwined by the tense and passionate flamenco dance. The group formed in Madrid released their first album last year under the label of Narrator Records.
